Courses we can offer:
Literacy
Literacy Across Disciplines and Writing Across Disciplines are two-day courses designed for secondary teachers who understand the critical need to promote literacy in their discipline and want to learn how to implement it. Components within each course are connected to the Common Core State Standards and supported through literacy strategies and 21st century skills.
Differentiation Academy
Differentiation Academy is a four day course focusing on the four core elements of differentiation: learning environment, content, process, and product. Participants will show evidence of their depth of understanding in the foundations of differentiated instruction by creating lesson plans from an original thematic-based integrated unit of study.
Supportive Interaction
Supportive Interaction Academy I focuses on relationship building with a repertoire of communication skills for instructional support. Supportive Interaction II focuses on dealing with resistant people while practicing skills learned from Supportive Interaction I.
We can host you and your teams at the PDC, or we can deliver PD on-site!
