Welcome Back Everyone!!
The calendar says early November but the temperature says late December!! This cold air and fresh snow means wet floors and an abundance of winter coats and lost gloves. The holidays are near, and I am sure we are all looking forward to a break with loved ones.
In the meantime, Two Rivers has had some events great events this fall. The first event was Tuesday, September 25, 2018, 5:00p.m. at the Bradley Public Library. Paint and Sip the World! Enjoy the photos we have attached.
Two Rivers Reading Council is excited to offer our very first online book club. We hope you enjoy learning how to foster resilient learners, and we look forward to lively discussions and collaboration.

Building Rep Spotlight
Hi, my name is Kimberly Plese. I have been teaching elementary age students for the past 12 years. I am currently teaching 3rd grade at Alan B. Shepard Elementary in Bourbonnais. I started my career at Bradley West elementary after graduating from Illinois State University in 2007 and spent the last 4 years teaching 5th grade in the Bloomington school district before returning to the area. Before teaching in Bloomington, I was a board member for TRRC and actively involved in the planning of events and attending the Illinois Reading conference. As a board member, I helped create fliers for events, served as a school building representative, and helped plan and set up for events for our members. I am looking forward to being involved again with TRRC as a building representative and attending the great events this program as to offer!
IRC Conference
