Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year
First Day Schedule
We will be using a modified first-day schedule.
Flipped Lab: 8:00-9:00 (See email sent out on Tuesday 9/1 for how to access Xello.)
Block 1: 9:00-9:30
Block 2: 9:35-10:05
Block 3: 10:10-10:40
Block 4: 10:45-11:15
Block 5: 11:20-11:50
(12:30 - 3:45) If you missed the morning session, you can request to meet with your teacher during this time. Your teacher may be running make-up sessions as well, so make sure to check your email.

Term 1 Distance Learning Schedule
Below is a copy of the daily schedule for students for distance learning. It is important to understand this schedule.
Blocks in Blue = Individual Work Time (Asynchronous Learning)
Blocks in Yellow = Live Class Time (Synchronous Learning)
Blocks in Gray = Rest/Break/Lunch
We hope that you will follow this schedule every day so that you have a structure to follow and won't fall behind. It is likely that we will return to a traditional setting at some point this school year. You will want to follow this structure to help the transition to be smooth.
Student Expectations for Distance Learning
Follow the Distance Learning Student Schedule.
Engage in live instruction daily as designated by the Distance Learning Schedule
Be engaged in 1 hour of learning per class per day.
Check Google Classroom and email daily.
Maintain regular and consistent communication with classroom teachers.
Complete work for each class daily / weekly as assigned by each teacher.
Adhere to the specific class expectations of their teachers.
Agree to abide by usual school rules and district policies even in a distance learning format.

Student material distribution on September 16th
On September 16th students will be given the opportunity to pick up all required class materials from the field house at Beloit Memorial High School. At the grade level scheduled time, One member from each students’ household may enter the field house and pick up text books and other specialized class materials for the 2020-2021 school year. Please make sure you are parked in a designated parking spot or vehicles may be ticket.
Please see the guidelines below for pick up:
- ONE member from the household (Student or Parent/Guardian) may enter the Field House to pick up materials. IF there are more than one student in the household that attend BMHS, both students may pick up materials at one time even if they are in different grade levels.
- Please wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
- Follow all posted signage.
- Please arrive within your designated window of time.
- Plastic bags will be provided, but you may want to bring a sturdier back pack for heavy text books.
Scheduled Grade Level Pick Up Times:
- Freshman: 8:30 to 10:00 am
- Sophomores: 10:00 to 11:30 am
- Juniors: 12:30 to 2:00 pm
- Seniors: 2:00 to 3:30 pm
