Advanced Design and Robotics (ADR) students have been completing their end of quarter presentations. The class is a project based student driven class with a career component. At the end of the first quarter, students were tasked with creating a presentation which accomplished multiple tasks. As the main focus of the class is projects, students' first quarter presentations were required to review and demonstrate all of their work from this quarter. In addition, students were required to declare their direction for next quarter (continue, expand, or change) regarding their project focus.

Students in Experiential Learning had the opportunity to job shadow construction trades and management positions at the new site of the Warren County Jail. WHS partnered with Granger Construction to create this opportunity for students.

As the new semester gets started, many seniors and juniors are taking the opportunity to be a part of the Experiential Learning Program at WHS. Students have the chance to leave school early to job shadow/intern or work.

Upcoming Seniors and Juniors will have the opportunity to register for Experiential Learning for the 2021-2022 school year in March.

The priority deadline has been extended for sophomores looking to attend WCCC next year. WCCC offers fantastic programs that can get students into the work force right after graduation or help college bound students gain experiences that will enhance their employment opportunities during and after college. All juniors will be taking the ACT March 9th. This is a remote learning day for all other grades.

Have you heard about Sinclair's Articulation Agreement? Articulation Agreements are formal agreements between organizations detailing the recognition of college credit between those organizations. Sinclair uses articulation agreements as a means to avoid duplication of resources and to encourage and enhance students' interest in post secondary education and transfer from one institution to another. College Credit Plus is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and post secondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families.
