Principal's Summer Newsletter

Sycamore Drive Early Childhood Learning Center

Greetings Sycamore Drive Families! Welcome to the Principal's Office!

I am proud to be the new principal of Sycamore Drive Early Childhood Learning Center. As we prepare to welcome your child to school, every consideration is being made to uphold the highest health and safety standards. During these unprecedented times I am fortunate to lead a talented group of educators who are responsive, focused and creative. We know how to work together and look forward to partnering with you. SDECLC staff are approachable, knowledgeable, dedicated, and caring. We welcome your family with open arms.

Whether our learning plan this fall is virtual, face to face, or a combination of both, I promise that your child's learning experience will be the very best that Hazlet has to offer. We remain steadfast in our commitment to personalized and social emotional learning, future ready skills, and family partnerships. We are closely following guidelines from Governor Murphy, the NJ Department of Education, Central Office and the Hazlet Board of Education to develop the best educational plan for your child. We will be fully prepared to execute a developmentally appropriate, research based and nurturing early learning program in September.

Please take a moment to view the Welcome to Kindergarten or Welcome to Preschool videos below. Each video provides information about school readiness and expectations. The Summer Time, tab accesses a menu of activities aligned to age appropriate, learning targets to help prepare your child for school.
