Jackson Smore

Indian Removal Act
Jackson removed over 16,000 Cherokee Indians between 1836-1839. This act gave Jackson the power to grant unsettled land west of the Mississippi in exchange with Indian land that are within the borders. Some tribes went peacefully, but others did not.
My 3 Reasons
- Jackson didn't really listen to what other people had to say, he did what he wanted.
- He didn't respect the Constitution.
- He over used his power to veto things.
