PE with Mr. Shepherd
K-2nd grade student have been working on tumbling skills. We started first with jumping and then practiced balancing on various body parts. Now we are working on different types of rolls. We will finish by performing a short sequence using jumps, balances and rolls. 3rd-5th grades are finishing up with volleying. We started with underhand serving and then practiced forearm bumps. Currently we are using volleying skills in small sided games (modified volleyball). The children have done a nice job and have improved their volleying skills. We will continue with volleying skills after Christmas break when we will practice overhand serves and overhead sets.
