Principal's Message
Hello Grizzlies,
As the weather warms up and the school year winds down, I am so impressed with how focused so many of you are on finishing this year as strong as possible. Remember, every assignment counts, every credit counts and you can do this!
Seniors, please see below for important information regarding our end of year activities. I have also sent out information via email as well. Please remember, that if you plan on participating in the graduation assembly, you must attend the graduation rehearsal on June 10. We look forward to seeing you there.
Just a few more weeks to go. We've got this!
Best,
Benjamin Bell

Device Return
The year is almost over and it is nearly time to collect all loaned technology (including district laptops, iPads, and hotspots). After a year of hard work, we need to refresh the devices by performing maintenance and updates so they are ready for use this coming fall. To make sure this happens, please return all technology by Friday, June 11 (Grade 12) or Friday, June 18 (Grades 9-11) at the latest.
Does your student plan to attend summer school? We still need your currently issued technology returned! Summer school teachers will make sure students have access to all necessary tools this summer, including technology if needed. Is your student’s loaned device a little worse for wear? Maybe it’s missing a keyboard key or has a cracked screen? We still need damaged devices returned so we can perform repairs.
You are also welcome to return devices directly to the AHS IVC Center. See below for details.

Ashland High Summer School Credit Recovery Opportunities!
This has been a tough year. We know that despite everyone’s best efforts, many students fell behind on credits. Thanks to a generous grant from the state of Oregon, we are happy to announce a quite robust array of credit recovery opportunities over the summer. It is critically important for our students to be able to start next year with the credits needed to make graduation a certainty.
Our summer school will allow students to recover up to a total of 6 credits during a six-week period.
The program be divided into two sessions: July 12-30 and August 2-20.
Classes will be held Monday through Thursday with a few enrichment field trips offered on Fridays for specific classes. Students may take up to 3 recovery classes per session. Credits may be recovered for both this academic year as well as past academic years. With the exception of certain math situations, classes will be graded as Pass/No Mark.
All instruction will be in-person and on the Ashland High School campus. Both breakfast and lunch will be provided and transportation will be available. There is no cost!
Classes available for recovery will include:
Humanities: English 9, Global Studies, English 10, American Studies, English selectives
Science: Both life and physical science credits can be recovered.
Math: a wide array of math offerings will be offered depending on need and numbers. This will include a math fundamentals refresher, Integrated Math 1, Integrated Math 2, and Algebra 2. Students may be able to take the classes if they did not pass OR If they wish to improve their grades to be eligible for college or to move on to the next math level.
PE/Health:
Electives: If students need elective credits, they may pair what they did with the offering we will have to earn elective credit.
If students need credits that are not listed above, there will be additional computer-based credit recovery options. Students will still need to attend in person to complete those.
If you are interested in signing up for this amazing opportunity, please contact Glenna Stiles or Bryanna Trevino at the high school.
Deadline for Resolving Incomplete Grades
For students that earned an I, Incomplete, as a grade in any class Fall Semester, June 1 will the be the final day that they have to satisfy whatever requirements (determined by the teacher) were necessary for them to earn a Pass.
If students have questions, they should talk to their teacher or counselor.
