MAP Testing Schedule.
Your student will be scheduled for state testing this spring. We use the test results to provide information to parents, students, and teachers about student performance and to help target instruction. The school and district use the results to help target resources and supports.
We continue to actively practice safety and social distancing protocols in line with guidance from the CDC and the Pasco Health Department. Public areas are sanitized regularly, masks are required for staff and students, hand sanitizer is readily available, and frequent hand washing is recommended.

MSOL Students Only - Testing Details
- MSOL students must report to campus by 7:45 am in the small parking lot off of Howard Avenue by building 9. 7:45 allows parents/guardians to bypass traffic of traditional students arriving at school between 7:05-7:25.
- ONLY MSOL students will test in building 9 and portables. No traditional students will be on that side of campus. This allows all MSOL to socially distance and test only with other MSOL students.
- There are approximately 45-55 MSOL students in each grade level, so this cohort will remain small and not interact with any students in the traditional setting.
- FSA Writing will last approximately 2.5 hours for regular testing time. Regular time MSOL Students may be picked up at 10:30. Extended time MSOL students will be contacted personally and given their testing schedule, but ALL MSOL should arrive by 7:45 am.
- 8th Grade Cambridge Checkpoints will be given in the Auditorium on 4/22 for MSOL. Students must be dropped off in the front car loop by 7:45 am to avoid interacting with traditional students. ONLY Cambridge MSOL students will test in the Auditorium on 4/22. Students will arrive at 7:45 and begin testing by 8:00, have lunch at 11:00 am, finish testing, and may be picked up at 1:45 pm to avoid the traditional dismissal at 2:03. Students may be picked up on Howard Avenue. Students will stay in the Auditorium until the parent texts the student's name to #352-469-0093. Students will be supervised out to their ride. Students may pack lunch or receive lunch from school. Students may bring snacks, & bottled water. The auditorium capacity is 560.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF CURRENT 6TH GRADERS - (7th graders for 2021-2022 school year)
One of the requirements for all 7th graders to attend school is to have the Tdap immunization. Please take your child to your physician or local Health Department for the necessary immunizations as soon as possible. Please return the required certificate of immunization to the school so we can document it in our records.
You can provide this documentation a couple different ways:
1) Bring a copy of the immunization record to the school for us to verify and note in our system.
2) Scan the document and send an email to Mrs. Browning, school nurse, at
kbrownin@pasco.k12.fl.us
3) Take a picture and send it to Mrs. Browning's google voice number: 352-462-3044
Please note that students who have not provided documentation of this required immunization, will not receive their class schedule during registration in August. If the required documents are not received by the first day of school, your child will be excluded from school until proof of the vaccine is provided.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Failure to respond by the above date may result in your child being unable to attend the first day of school.
Sincerely,
School Nurse
