It's your time to shine!

Hello lovely Stylists!

September is half-over and we are in full on Fall and Holiday mode around here. We are about to enter our three best selling months of the entire year and YOU can SHINE this season. You might be brand new, a seasoned veteran or on pause, but you can SHINE these next few months by taking action this week! All it takes to start your business or to get back into your business is ONE, yes ONE, trunk show.

Last September, I sat here with basically an empty pipeline facing what I knew was the busiest three months in our business. I was not going to let this opportunity slip by so I got to work warming up hostesses and following up with phone calls. I ended up filling up my calendar and selling $20,000 in the last three months of 2013 AND promoting to Director. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN if you work for it!

Here's my challenge to you...start tonight by getting a small notebook, an Excel spreadsheet, Evernote, a scrap of paper...whatever works for you. Use this to keep track of potential hostesses this season. Start by warming up 10 hostesses once a week by email. Once you have sent 10 emails, start calling 2 a day for 5 days. You will get a lot of voice mails and a LOT of NOs, but if you follow this plan each week throughout the rest of the year you will book shows.

I get asked a LOT about the "magic pill" to be successful in this business and guess what? There isn't one. Your actions are the only magic you need and calling two people a day 5 days a week is an easy one!

This business is not easy, but it's fun and it works when you do. I know that because after 5 years, if I follow this plan, I book shows and keep a full pipeline.

Shake it off!

Those little voices in your head are also known as your saboteurs and they are NOT your friends! If you listen to them, you will think there are too many stylists for you to book shows, that the collection is too expensive, that you don't know enough people, that you aren't good enough/stylish enough/bold enough to book shows. WRONG! Each one of you has what it takes to book shows. It's all about shaking off those saboteurs and picking up that phone!

2. Call 2 a day/5 days a week
3. Book shows!
4. Lather - Rinse - Repeat
5. Reap the rewards of lots of cash for Christmas!
