Holiday Season

It's December and we are getting closer to the holidays. This is the time of year where we focus on joy, hope, and celebrations with our families and friends. Of course, the current pandemic has put many restrictions on the manner in which we are doing things this holiday season. If anything, the current pandemic has taught me to still keep joy and hope alive, while everything seems to be changing and challenging. Although there might not be opportunities to celebrate with family and friends, please keep joy and hope in your hearts so that we can get back to normal routines.

Over the weekend, I was introduced to an author and artist, who writes stories about keeping a positive mindset and kindness. These attributes are important to keep in mind as we are living through the pandemic. The story of The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse ,by Charlie Mackesy is an ageless tale. While we are trying to keep our spirits high and to keep a positive outlook, I thought this would be a great story to to share with everyone.

Take Care, Happy Holidays, and I hope to see everyone in the very near future.

Technology Tips

Now that we are all back to remote learning it seems like all students/families are able to access Schoology and Microsoft Teams Easily. We are grateful that the district has purchased computers so that all students can have access to online lessons. It is common for the office to get a few calls each day that are related to technology. The following are two common errors that occur with the lap tops. Hopefully the information helps you navigate the world of online learning.

Issue # 1- This applies to laptops that have been loaned out by the district. The computer prompts you to change your password. Please do not change the password. Follow this link for the steps to by-pass this screen:

Issue #2-The computer says you are blocked from the website( Schoology or TEAMS). In order to resolve issue, try restarting the computer. Often times, this updates filters that are used
