Creativity at Beckman
As we move through the 2019-20 school year, our teachers continue to learn about and apply elements of Creativity in their day to day interactions with students. As a staff we recently had a guest speaker, Dr. Roland Betancourt, from UCI come talk to us about his new class “Disneyland: Art, Architecture, and Operation.” Our teachers learned about the origins of many of Disney’s creative ideas and how they are applied and manifest themselves today.

Challenge Success and Wellness Fair
On Wednesday, January 29th, Margaret Dunlap from the Challenge Success program came to speak to our parents about balance, “fit” over rankings, and to give parents some strategies to help their children through the high school experience. There were also several vendors of wellness related services and products on hand to share their wares and information on their area of expertise. It was a great night and special thanks goes out to our PTO for their help in organizing the event.
