Ready for Summer and Beyond
Three and one half hours left...not that we're counting! That is all that stands between CMS and some much deserved summer vacation. Even with only one week left there has been so much happening at CMS it's hard to keep up!
Grade 6 went to the New England Aquarium and touched sting rays, starfish, and other aquatic creatures after a busy and fun Field day on Tuesday.
Grade 7 had field day on Tuesday and a Social Studies project fair on Thursday.
Grade 8 went to Canobie Lake on Tuesday; awards, promotion and dance on Thursday and a Norwood Police sponsored BBQ on Friday (whew that is a lot!)
Intermixed with the activities were projects, labs, writing work, and many other academic pieces taking us all the way to day 179 working hard!
It has been an amazing first year for me and we are so thankful that you share your children with us each day! Have a great weekend and we will see you on Monday!
The PTO meets the second Thursday of each month to hear an update from the principal and discuss planning related to enrichment, fundraising, activities and other topics of interest. You can also stay up to date with the CMS PTO by following us on Facebook. You can contact the PTO at email@example.com.
School kits available for purchase. Order on schooltoolbox.com. Ordering deadline is June 24 and they will be delivered to Coakley the week of August 13th. THIS IS A NEW VENDOR
