Kirk Fenton News
1st February 2019
Dear Parents / Carers,
Today we have all enjoyed a combination of maths and snow. The children all took part in NSPCC number day which has raised awareness of the work that the NSPCC do whilst the children had fun with different maths challenges. The children had a short time to play in the snow before it melted.
This week it has been the adults turn to learn as we had training on the google environment used with the Chromebooks in school. We were all very impressed and are ready to use what we have learned to inspire the children in ICT. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Friends of Kirk Fenton as they raised the money for a full class set of chromebooks which are already in use around school.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Karen Williams

Number Day
We have had a fantastic day in school today celebrating maths, while raising over £190 for the NSPCC. Many thanks for all your support, the children look fantastic! Over the week, children have chosen to use some of their lunchtime to practise their times tables, with over 170 sessions of Times Tables Rock Stars in 4 days! Today has seen the school buzzing with maths challenges, cards, dominoes, quizzes and other fun maths. We look forward to welcoming the NSPCC into school later in the year to work with our children.
