Ms. Zawar's 1st Grade Class
A warm welcome to parents and guardians,
A little bit about me!
In my free time I as well as photography and scrap-booking. I absolutely love working on hands-on projects and being crafty. I love discovering new things and learning how to create them.
I love working with children at this grade level because of their bright and creative minds. They like to questions, which is a key component for their best learning experience. I love talking to and explaining to children what they want to know. This is a great way for me to know the children and for them to get to know me.
Going on a field trip will cost money and the best way to ensure that everyone is able to go is by raising enough money. We are going to be visiting the Science Museum so the children are able to see the different types of dinosaur history that will be displayed in the Museum. Along with many other great artifacts that will be available.
As a teacher it would be a great help to have other parents being able to help us teachers to take the children to a field trip. We can use all the help we can get. We want to ensure the children's safety as well as make sure this is a great learning experience for everyone.
To do list
I will provide a list of necessities that the children will need in order to be fully prepared and ready to go on the field trip. I would appreciate that all parents make sure to look at the list to see if they have made sure to follow all the rules of what they should and shouldn't give their child on the field trip.
To do list
The children will have the opportunity to be able to check out books at the school library every week. I would recommend parents make sure that their children read every night for at least for 10-15 minutes. This will create a great routine for children to work with as they will begin to enjoy books. Ask children questions about what they read and what the story is about as they progress. This is a great way to reflect on what your child has read so far.
