Welcome Back!
I can't believe how quickly our first semester flew by, and I am looking forward to working with all of you second semester. As we begin this semester, please let me know how I can support you! I love the opportunity to lend a hand in classrooms, so please don't be afraid to ask! Need a guest reader? Want to brainstorm how to make a lesson more engaging? Trying a new tech tool? Want to visit another classroom? Let's schedule a time!
I'm looking forward to a great second semester!

Gamification in the Classroom
Stefanie and I worked together last year on the same 8th grade team, and now she serves Dunlap Schools as one of their three Instructional Technology Coaches. Stefanie gamified her Literature class last year and had a lot of success. Don’t worry if you aren’t ready to gamify yet, though! Stefanie is full of ideas on how to bring game-based elements into the classroom to engage learners!
Jason Carr and I worked together at Illini Bluffs, and he currently teaches 8th grade math and serves as the president of the ICE-HOI chapter. Jason started gamifying his classroom about four years ago and has a strong background in educational technology!
Please let me know if you’re interested in attending!
