Tryouts for the musical will be Thursday, December 15th after school in the band room!

Practices will start after Christmas break. The 7th-8th grade will be practicing during our 7th hour and once a week we will practice altogether after school.

Please have a song prepared to sing and be prepared to read some of the lines from the musical. There are 12 main acting parts and 4 or 5 main singing parts. We will also need a lot of extra students just being on the stage in various roles with no speaking parts. We will also need a stage manager, stage crew, costume crew and other various roles filled!

Focused on Growth

At PK8, we focus on each student's growth. We know that each student CAN grow at least one-grade level each school year. We track student growth in math and reading through IXL (math), AR (K-6 reading), and Independent Reading (7th-8th).

If your child is not making appropriate growth, we will develop a plan to target their area of need. Please make sure your child is reading and completing IXL at home.

Partnering with YOU is one of the greatest influencers on their academic growth!

THANK YOU for all of your support.
