Mrs. McManis's Book Club
A story about kindness and inclusion
This month I enjoyed reading about Scribble, the book's main character, to our students.
Scribble never thought he was different until he met his first drawing. Then, after being left out because he didn't look like everyone else; Scribble teaches the drawings how to accept each other for who they are. Working together enables them to create amazing art.
Looking for a good family book?
Spots in art! Spots in punctuation! Spots on animals!
This story has a catchy rhyme that makes reading fun for early readers! Every Spot has their own personality and will encourage children to use their imagination with every page turn!
So Long Ms. Graham!
After 18 years serving the students of Audubon, Ms. Graham is retiring. Her efforts and talents have been shared with the students, staff, and community members. We appreciate her
dedication to Audubon and wish her all the best in her retirement.
Stay tuned to next month's issue of HIVE Happenings where we will introduce our
new counselor, Mrs. Maria McCutcheon.
