Breakfast
Ingredients-
2 6-ounce vanilla yogurts
1 large bag of granola
2 tablespoons of honey
Directions-
Spoon 2 containers of yogurt into 4 glasses and crumble granola on top. Drizzle with honey.
PB&J Toast-
Ingredients-
1 slice of preferred bread
Peanut butter
Jelly
Directions-
Toast bread. Spread peanut butter then jelly on bread. Cut in half
Bagel and Cream Cheese with Tomato and Cucumber-
Ingredients-
1 bagel split in half
1/2 cup of cream cheese
1 small cucumber
1/2 plum tomato, cut into wedges
Directions-
Toast bagel halves and spread with cream cheese. Cut the cucumber into 8 rounds and several thin slices can be used to form glasses. Cut tomato into wedges and will be used for the smile.
Lunch
Ingredients-
2 pieces of whole wheat bread
Peanut Butter
Jelly
Directions-
Spread peanut butter on one side of bread and jelly on the other. Cut sandwich into quarters!
Ham and Pineapple Pita Pizza-
Ingredients-
4 pitas
8 ounces sliced deli ham
1 8 ounce sliced mozzarella
1 8 ounce pineapple chunks, drained
Directions-
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Place pitas on a baking sheet. Layer with ham, mozzarella, and pineapple. Bake until the pitas are crisp and the cheese has melted, 10 to 12 minutes.
Nutella and Raspberry Sandwich-
Ingredients-
2 slices of white bread
1/2 cup of Nutella
1 6 ounce pack of fresh raspberries
Directions-
Spread 1 slice of bread with Nutella. Top with raspberries and remaining slice of bread. Cut sandwich into quarters.
Dinner
Ingredients-
1 English Muffin per person
1 container of pizza sauce
Preferred toppings
Directions-
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut English Muffin in half. Spread pizza sauce on both halves. Put toppings on and bake until muffins are golden brown.
Grilled Cheese-
Ingredients-
Two pieces of white bread
Butter
Sliced cheese
Directions-
Spread butter on one side of both pieces of bread. Put sliced cheese in between both pieces of bread. Cook on stovetop until both sides of bread are toasted. Cut into quarters.
Rice Cake Owls-
Ingredients-
1 slice of meat, your choice
1 rice cake
1 boiled egg
2 sultanas
1 slice of cheese
2 slices of cucumber
1 carrot stick
Directions-
Lay meat on top of rice cake. Carefully slice your boiled egg and use the two middle slices as eyes, place sultanas on for eye balls. Using knife cut the cheese for feet and beak. Cut one cucumber slice in half and use as wings. Use other slice and make ears. Once positioned on plate, place a carrot lengths underneath the owl to serve as tree branch.
Dessert
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter
1package (10 oz., about 40) JET-PUFFED Marshmallows
OR
4 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
6 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal
Directions:
In a large sauce pan, melt butter. When butter is melted add the marshmallows until melted, then removed heat. Add rice cereal until well mixed. Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, evenly spread the mix in a 13x9 in cooking pan with cooking spray on it. Let the rice crispy cool then cut and eat.
Chocolate Banana Sundae-
Ingredients-
4 small bananas
1 pint vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup of chocolate sauce
1/4 cup of sweetened shredded coconut
Directions-
Peel and slice the bananas. Scoop ice cream into 4 bowls. Top with bananas, chocolate sauce, and coconut.
No Bake Oatmeal-
Ingredients-
1/3 cup of granulated sugar
2 teaspoons of unsweetened coconut
2 tablespoons of fat free milk
2 tablespoons of crunchy peanut butter
1/4 cup of vanilla
1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
Directions-
Stir together sugar, cocoa and milk in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high 1 to 1 1/4 minutes or until boiling, stir once. Stir peanut butter and vanilla until blended. Stir oats until combined. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Cool in freezer for 10 minutes before serving.
