Joeseph Zabielski - 4th Grade Classroom Teacher
Hi my name is Joe Zabielski. I am a fourth grade teacher at Harwich Elementary School. I have been teacher in Harwich for 5 years. I was born and raised on Cape Cod and attended Harwich Elementary School. My wife and I just welcomed our first daughter, Brookyln Ryan Zabielski, over Thanksgiving weekend. In our spare time we love to ski and enjoy the beach. Fins Up!
Kelly Bohl - 4th Grade Long Term Substitute Classroom Teacher
I moved to beautiful Cape Cod in June of 2015. Cape Cod was not new to me, as my husband and I had a second home here for ten years. Before moving here, I lived in the Berkshires and taught third and fourth grade in the town of Dalton for ten years. I graduated from MCLA with a degree in English/Communications before getting my educator certification. I received my Masters of Education Degree from the same college, and also hold a license for Principal/Assistant Principal in the state of Massachusetts. My husband and I have a daughter who recently moved to the Cape from Boston and also a son and daughter-in- law who live in North Carolina. Their son Logan is the light of my life. I have enjoyed working with the amazing staff at Harwich Elementary School, as well as, the students and parents.
Cindy Macomber - 4th Grade Classroom Teacher
Mrs. Macomber celebrates her 29th year of teaching, 26 of them in the Chatham/Monomoy Regional School System, and she looks forward to 29 more! With a degree in Elementary Education from Franklin Pierce University, she was hired to establish an elementary school-wide enrichment program when she first came to Chatham. Nine years later, with budget cuts, she became a classroom teacher for grades 4 and 6, and, with her license in Humanities, a 7th and 8th grade teacher. She re-established an enrichment program for MRMS and, most recently, joined the HES 4th grade team. Supporting her throughout this "circle of academic and creative growth" are her two other passions: her two daughters, Hayley and Christie, and her husband of 26 years.
Mary Anne Bragdon - 4th Grade Special Education Teacher
My name is Mary Anne Bragdon and I am the Special Education teacher for fourth grade. I have been teaching at Harwich Elementary for 22 years. I earned both my Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Fitchburg State College. I grew up in the town of Athol, MA and have six older brothers. I live in Brewster with my husband Don and two daughters, Katie and Maggie. When I am not a school I can be found volunteering at my church, traveling to different sporting events for Maggie, and in warmer months camping and swimming.
