Yearbooks! - LAST CHANCE!

Purchase a 2022-2023 Turner Creek Yearbook
Yearbooks will be shipped to the school and distributed to the students in their homeroom. We will only have a limited number of extras for sale. If you want one, you need to order before April 7.
BackPack Buddies Update
**Our program is currently in need of single-serve Mac and Cheese and Chef Boyardee. These are great lunch options for our students who have working parents and need something easy to microwave during the day. We also are in need of Jelly, to support PB&J days!
A BIG shout-out to our amazing community for supporting this program. We have had neighborhood food drives, cub/girl scout troop donations, and companies matching donations! If you have an idea on how to support the program please email jhawkins@wcpss.net. We would also like to thank Ms. Penuel for starting a connection with our local Panera Bread. Our families will now be getting bread with their weekly weekend bags!!
If you are interested in supporting this program, here are our
(Items in red are in HIGH need). You can drop food off at the office at any time, or use the links to have donations directly shipped. You can use our Target or Amazon links to have items directly delivered to school.
If your family is in need of food support please send an email to jhawkins@wcpss.net saying that you are interested, your child's name, and the number of children under the age of 18 in your household. We will send home a permission form with your student and food home on Fridays.
Helping During the School Day
We need volunteers to help supervise students at lunch and recess to help relieve teachers and IAs. It's a great opportunity to see your child and really help out the school.
Only registered volunteers will be able serve our school in this way. The school will have a computer available daily for community members to register to volunteer. If you would like to register, please come to the school between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. You should park in a parking space and walk to the front of the building. Ring the bell and tell the front office staff that you would like to register to volunteer. We will roll a computer out to you. You will need your Driver's License to register.

Help the PTA support the staff
Our TCE staff are so excited for this new school year! Welcome to all our new families! Our PTA has a COVID-safe way for families to help support our teachers and staff. We have an Amazon Wish List of items needed to re-supply our staff snack cart. If you order off the wish list, the items will be delivered directly to the school, so you don't even need to drop anything off. Please consider supporting our staff by visiting our Amazon Wish List. Turner Creek gear including hats, t-shirts, car magnets and more can be ordered via the PTA store here. Items will be delivered to the classroom to be sent home with your child.
Celebration Books
Turner Creek families can mark special occasions, such as a child’s birthday, by donating a book to the Media Center in your child’s name. Donating a book is a very special way to honor your child while promoting a love of reading and supporting the Turner Creek Media Center. If you would like to participate in this program, you can fill out this online form.
Close to your child's birthday, they will be invited to choose a new book which will be added to the Media Center collection. A personalized bookplate will be placed inside the front cover to commemorate your child’s special occasion and be seen by future readers. Your child will then be the first to check out the book. We hope you will take part in this meaningful program!
