Message from the Principal π
It's the LAST FULL WEEK OF CLASSESThis is a very important week, Vikings!! Be sure to focus during your review sessions this week and ask your teachers any questions you may have because next week, we jump right into Final Exams!! This is our last week of before and after-school tutoring, as well as Tardy Clearance Sessions, so be sure to hit either or both of those if you need it. You got this, Vikings!!
This is also our final spirit week of the year, as well as our 8th grader vs. Staff games during lunch each day! I hope to see as many of you participating as possible! Let's finish strong with Viking pride!!

Southwestern College's Y.E.S. Academy registration now open!!!
Y.E.S. Academy offers a variety of summer academic and enrichment programs for 4thβ12th grade students and parents/caregivers, offered through courses, workshops, and more. We provide a positive, early-on college experience where students can thrive by trying something new, learning new skills, and challenging themselves in a college environment. This mission, we hope, will create new discoveries and decisions leading to each studentβs own unique pathway for success. Classes take place at Southwestern College.

Final Non-Privilege List (NPL)
- Earning one or more Dβs or Fβs in Citizenship on the Quarter 4 Progress Report
- Earning frequent disciplinary detentions
- Suspended from school from PR1-PR2
- Excessive number of tardies (12+) since Feb. 16
In addition, any 8th graders that gets in trouble for a suspendable offense (drugs/alcohol, fighting, bullying, instigating a fight, vandalism, etc.), will lose the privilege of attending all 8th grade end of year activities, including the promotion ceremony. So, make good choices, Vikings!!

Did you pick up your FREE SPIRIT SHIRT yet?? If not, make sure to go to the ASB during lunch to pick one up!
Don't forget to show your Viking pride every Friday!!

Pictures submitted must CLEARLY show Vikings participating in the ASB Spirit Day ON CAMPUS for consideration (make this obvious). Photos that include inappropriate hand gestures, clothing attire, or suggest inappropriate behavior will not be taken into consideration and will be forwarded to MVA Administration for further review. All photos will be reviewed by the ASB.
