Principal Keener's Message...
End of First Quarter
How was your child's First Quarter of Learning and Growing?
Does the Arctic Light staff know your child?
Do we understand your child's strengths and areas needing support?
Our use of targeted lessons can make all the difference with your child's education. By this time of year our teachers have a clear understanding of student performance levels through district and classroom assessments. Targeted small group lessons are applied to your child's needed areas. This maximizes the impact and reduces learning time.
How is your child "doing" at Arctic Light?
The softer aspects of our educational programing can be just as important. Does your child like going to school? Is this a good environment for him/ her to learn and grow? Are we giving your child the skills to be successful at life?
Parent/ Teacher Conferences are Oct 25 & 26th. Bring your questions and concerns to your Parent/ Teacher Conferences and let us know how, as a team, we can do better.
