Standardized tests are used for numerous purposes, and have been used for several years. Nevertheless, people are beginning to doubt their importance and reliability.

In 2013, schools began to boycott the MAP test, the first school that made an impact was Garfield High School in Seatle, creating the Scrap the MAP initiative!
Society began to doubt the importance of standardized tests, and fight back:
