On Track OHSU! Is a health science outreach program that works with students throughout high school and into college, with the goal of increasing the racial diversity in OHSU’s schools and programs and throughout Oregon’s biomedical workforce. We work to provide opportunities for students to learn about health and science fields in hands on and authentic ways.

At Jefferson, we are now working with all students in 10th grade through their health classes, and 11th and 12th grade students through the Biotech program classes (grade 11, Anatomy and Physiology and Grade 12, Research and Medicine).

  All are welcome: parents, guardians, students, staff, alumni, community members. If you are not a member, we still want you at our meetings and events! It’s easier than ever, just jump on the zoom link, the second Wednesday of the month. Membership dues are $12.50, but pay what you can.

We are super excited to introduce our new ongoing fundraiser. Many of our usual fundraising opportunities are not available right now like concessions.

Your can and bottle deposits can now be donated to the Jefferson PTSA to help fund the many ways we support students and staff. Get one of our Blue Bags, fill it up and either bring it to us or drop it off at a Bottle Drop location, https://www.bottledropcenters.com/locations/

You can get a Blue Bag by contacting Laura Bullock, president@demosptsa.org or you can pick up a Blue Bag or drop off cans and bottles at the food pantry on Tuesdays and Fridays between 12:00 and 3:00.

Our PTSA raises money throughout the year and uses those funds to support our students in many ways, from funding special projects and events to supporting the food pantry. Many of our fundraising opportunities are unavailable this year due to the pandemic. Many of our families are going through hardship this year and we are doing what we can to support them through food and supplies.
