Picture Day is Coming!
Picture Day for all our students is Aug. 29th. Right now, we do have a class color dress-up day the same day to encourage Thunder Spirit as we head into our first football game. We understand if your student chooses to not wear the class color that day. The link below will answer some of our most frequently asked questions about pictures. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
AP Test Registration is starting next week.
This year, the College Board has changed their timeline for students to sign up to take their AP test. Students will begin signing up next week. All AP teachers will help the students with signing up during class time next week. The first step for the process is to make sure that the student knows how to access their College Board account. Any student who has taken a PSAT or SAT test, or has previously taken an AP test, already has an account. Any student that does not already have an account, will be assisted in setting up that account. Students will then be added to the appropriate AP class on their College Board account. Students must pay the $15 deposit by October 4. Students that attended AP Boot Camp has already paid their $15 for one test. If they are taking more than one test, they will need to add $15 for each additional test. Final payments will be due before March 2. If you know that you may need assistance with payment, please contact your counselor. We are looking forward to seeing all the success these students earn through the AP program. If you have questions, please reach out to your counselor.
Our First Late Start....
Next Wednesday, August 28, is our first late start for this school year. Just as a reminder, classes do not begin until 9:20 AM. Buses will run one hour later. Student who need to come at the regular time can still enter the building. But, they will need to remain in our Commons/Cafeteria area until 9:10 AM. Teacher will not be available during this time. Let us know if there are questions at 815-334-2100.
