Eunice High School
Eunice High School implemented the “Positive Post-Its” Board. This board is designed to allow the faculty and staff to openly appreciate, compliment, and brag about our accomplishments. With all the negativity in this world, we can share some enthusiasm, positivity, and LOVE for one another!
To promote the accomplishments of our students and their positive behavior, a post-it board was created for faculty and staff to give “shout-outs” to our students to acknowledge their achievements.
Glendale Elementary
Glendale Elementary recently held a “Meet the Teacher” night. Parents were invited to come and meet their child’s teacher for the new school year and drop off supplies.

Paula Scott Park Vista 5th grade
Mr. Tyrone Glover, City of Opelousas Councilmen, donated brand new flags to Park Vista Elementary. He even took the old flags to properly discard them for us.
South Street
At South Street Elementary, Mrs. Thompson's third-grade scientists viewed the eclipse online today. They got to see how the eclipse looked around the country. They also completed an eclipse cold read and word search to celebrate the day.
South Street Elementary held a parent orientation August 17th. Faculty and Staff spoke to them about the great expectations for the year.
South Street Elementary PBIS committee member Mrs. Deidra Bossier presented Mrs. Bobbie Curette an attendance treat for being present and on time every day last week. All faculty and staff are eligible!
Mrs. Lafleur's second-grade class planned and conducted an investigation to determine what plants needed to grow. They made sprout houses and planted beans.
Southwest Elemetary
Ms. Miller's Pre-K Class learned all about solar eclipses. They completed a craft to demonstrate how eclipses occur.
