THANKS, KUDOS & HOLIDAY SENTIMENTS

Thanks so much for a marvelous closing day to the Fall Semester 2012!

Each year, we begin the morning before Winter Break with a school-wide sing along in the cafeteria led by Mrs. Anderson and Ms. Boeselt.

We close out the songs with a faculty led rendition of "The Twelve Days of Christmas".

The students were filled with laughter

as their teachers and administrators were dressed for each of the days.

We appreciate all teachers and staff for the great work with the students today and throughout the fall semester.

KUDOS to all our parents and volunteers for organizing, decorating, setting up and facilitating for our Winter Classroom Parties! The parties were wonderful and the students were having a great time!

*******************************

We are grateful to all our parents and visitors

for your patience during today's sign in and sign out process.

Thanks to Fern Bluff’s Office Team for organizing an effective process.

Also, we thank volunteers such as our PTA president for their assistance.

Things went very smoothly and made for safe, enjoyable holiday parties.

Our special recognition goes out to Fern Bluff father, Brandon Budfuloski, for volunteering to greet parents and visitors as they entered for the parties wearing his military attire. His presence was felt and his time spent was truly appreciated!!!

Thanks to everyone who contributed individually, as a family or classroom towards our campus-wide Giving Tree effort.

May the kindness shown return to each of you double!!!

As a school community, with this year's giving tree efforts, we were able to support twelve Fern Bluff families as well as offer some support to additional homeless families in RRISD.

IT IS A JOY TO BEING PART OF SUCH

A WONDERFUL AND CARING SCHOOL COMMUNITY!

We wish every teacher, paraprofessional, student, parent

and member of the Fern Bluff Elementary

a wonderful winter break and a blessed New Year.

Please be safe, enjoy, relax and cherish the precious moments

spent with those who mean the most.

We anticipate a wonderful Spring semester

and look forward to welcoming our students back

Monday, January 7, 2013.
