GUEST MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Mary Helen Guest Elementary School, in cooperation with the community, is to educate all children in a caring environment so that every student is a knowledgeable, resourceful and self-reliant individual able to adapt and contribute productively to our changing society.

The PTSA Reflection Contest is here!
Families, we need your help in getting our students involved in this wonderful opportunity. All grades and abilities are welcome. Students will reflect on a common theme to create original works of art in the categories of:
- Dance Choreography
- Film Production
- Music Composition
- Photography & Visual Arts

HALLOWEEN DETAILS - SEE COSTUME EXPECTATIONS UNDER THE HALLOWEEN CLIP ART
Classroom Parties 2:30 - 3:15 (times may vary depending on grade level - this would have been communicated by your child's teacher)
Parade: 3:20 - 3:45
No rain; we will parade around the perimeter of the playground... same route as the Splash and Dash. Since the last two years we have been inside due to rain, we will follow the same route. Families, please line the perimeter of the gym and cafeteria to watch the Halloween parade.
All visitors must stop by the tables to sign in and put on a visitors sticker. If you are taking your child(ren) home after the parade, please mark the BOX that will be on the sign-out sheet. We appreciate your cooperation.
Students should wear attire they will be able to parade in without tripping.
Students should wear costumes that are wholesome in nature.
Please avoid “bloody” costumes, scary masks, or weapons (real or pretend).

Our PTA Reflections Contest has begun! This year’s theme is “Let Your Imagination Fly!” – How exciting is that?! Did I mention it’s a contest? That means you will have a chance to win cool prizes and some awesome recognition with your families and friends. Come on Wildcats, we need you to be creative and get involved.
