This week Dance I will continue their research, and Academic Literacy will stop by for some book talks. None of these classes will affect study hall, so we will be open as usual.
On to exciting news! I just received an awesome shipment of books on the topic of Restorative Justice! To refresh your memory, this was the topic of Becky Wussow’s awesome presentation to Clark teachers last semester, and many of these books come highly recommended from her! Here are the titles we just got in:

Michelle will travel to San Antonio to participate and perform in the TMEA All-State Band which is in conjunction with the Texas Music Educators Association Convention/Clinic, February 10-13.

Laura Caffrey, one of our ESL teachers, hosts Conversation Circles After School on Fridays to Provide English Practice for our ESL students in a Casual, Comfortable Setting

Even more exciting is that a Clark alumni (pictured below), now a junior at PSHS, received Reserve Grand Champion! So she got second place overall, which is a huge deal in livestock showing, according to Savannah Rubio.
Additionally, we beat out all the PESH students who also showed rabbits!
