SNICKERS BAR SLOPE

In 1950, my grandparents could buy a Snickers bar for 5 cents. The price increased to 85 cents for one Snickers bar by the time I was born in 2000. The price of a Snickers bar increased from 1950 to 2000 by 80 cents, this creates a positive slope. If the price would have decreased the slope would be negative and if the price had not changed, my grandparents could have bought 17 Snickers bars for 5 cents each the year I was born and the slope would be zero.
