Principal's Corner - Mr. Jeffrey Cateon
We will soon be using the REMIND service and you will soon receive an email asking you to join. This will help us in communicating with families through the use of this application.
We are pleased to announce two new staff members at WES:
Mrs. Kathy McKinney has joined us as the new English Language Learner paraprofessional working with Mrs. Ferney.
Mr. Kevin Patton is serving as the long term substitute for Mrs. Wilds in grade 4.
Congratulations to our half time clerk, Mrs. Janice Johnston on her new role at the Early Learning Center. We have hired a replacement for Mrs. Johnston and will make the announcement soon.
School Pictures will take place on Thursday, October 15th (Cohort A) and Friday, October 16th (Cohort B). Flyers have gone home or you can view packages and place an online order at mylifetouch.com with the picture ID code of EVT3RBWK4. Lifetouch has shared their safety protocols here.
Families can pick up free breakfast and lunch at AHS on Blue Pride Way (outside in front of the HS entrance) from 11:00AM-1:00PM each day. The bag includes a breakfast and lunch item. We are encouraging all families to fill out free/reduced lunch forms in order to ensure there is not a gap in January after the community feeding program ends on December 31, 2020. You can fill it out digitally here.
If you haven't already, please join us on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter , Instagram) and on our Website.
