From the Principal
Good Afternoon Monroe Families! I can't believe it is already October 1st. We are excited for our Walk-A-Thon next week. The students will be participating in this event during their related arts time on Tuesday. Next week is also Monroe Elementary's Spirit Week. This is in conjunction with Jonathan Alder High School's Spirit Week in preparation for homecoming. Monroe just made each day more elementary student-friendly. Information about the different days for Spirit Week came home today. It is also listed below.
Have a great weekend!

Jonathan Alder will be hosting a Destination Imagination (DI) program in our Elementary through Junior High schools for the 2021-2022 School Year!
DI is a national competition program that engages participants in project-based challenges that are designed to build confidence and develop extraordinary creativity, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. The goal is for our students to be inspired and equipped to achieve anything they can imagine in life. That means students have a fun learning experience that is kid-powered STEM centric and team driven. This friendly competition motivates teams to reach for the stars while also rooting for each other and celebrating differences in ideas. If your child is interested in participating please fill out this form, to participate as a Team Manager or volunteer please fill out this form. More information about DI can be found here.
