STAFF MEMBER OF THE WEEK

Erin Jereczek

Ms. Jereczek joined the RVHS team this year, after previously teaching many years to our younger generation students at Temecula Luiseno Elementary. Ms. Jereczek has 20 years of teaching experience and uses many of the tools she has acquired over the years to reach the unique student population on our campus. Ms. Jereczek will tell you herself that she has struggled with many of the same issues that our students face everyday. Additionally she has a highschool teenager at home that keeps her on her toes, and this speaks even more to her ability to relate with high school students.

The first time you meet Ms. Jereczek either in person or “zoom” it is immediately obvious how genuine and kind she is to all people. She has a heart for students and especially those in need of extra support. In her classroom you will see her passion for life, subject matter, and students come to light as she navigates through her curriculum, science projects, and ASB activities. She currently teaches Biology, Earth/Space Science and A.S.B. This makes sense because she loves to be outside hiking, biking, exploring, camping, and spending time with the people she loves.

Ms. Jereczek has an enormous heart for not only her students but all students. She is constantly coming up with ways to encourage and motivate students at RVHS. She is always staying after class time to work with students who are behind and struggling. She continually adjusts her class to fit the needs of the students as well as creating tangible benchmarks that help the students grow beyond what they thought they were capable of.

Recently, Ms. Jereczek reached out to us about providing a special encouraging reward at her own expense to students not even in her class. This just speaks volumes about the kind of educator and person she is. All of this to say, Ms. Jereczek has been chosen as our employee of the week. Thank you for all you do for the students and we are blessed to have you be a part of our RVHS family . You're a “Rock Star”.
