A Note From the Principal...

Hello Students and Parents!

It is hard to believe this year is coming to an end so quickly. We have several events planned for your students and wanted to make sure we get the information to you!

Awards ceremonies will be held on zoom this year so that both remote and face-to-face students can participate. Students who are face-to-face will participate from their homeroom and the homeroom teachers will be giving them their awards. The remote students will pick up their awards when they drop off their chromebooks.

Chromebooks and other supplies will be collected from face-to-face learners on the last day of school between lunch and the end of the day. Remote learners will drop off their chromebooks and supplies on Friday, May 28 between 10am and 1pm.

Yearbooks will be in shortly. They will be handed out on the last day of school for our face-to-face learners. Our remote learners will get theirs with their awards that will be given to them when they drop off their textbooks, chromebooks, and other supplies.

Report cards will be posted on Progressbook and mailed home. The mailing will include a letter about promotion into the next grade level and a supply list if your child is going into 7th or 8th grade. Those students going to 7th grade will have an additional sheet about immunizations and current requirements.

Any additional questions about the end of the year can be directed to your child's homeroom teacher or to Mrs. Klaus and Mr. Pore.

Have a great day!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Jennifer Klaus

Relationships Under Construction

We are pleased to announce that we are offering a Risk Avoidance Education Program May 18 - May 21 in 7th grade hosted by Mrs. Staley. This program has been taught here at CFMS for the last 10 years in Science/Health class. The goals of this program are to discuss healthy relationship building, support risk avoidance for all risky behaviors, improve communication with parents, and help children have optimal health.

The curriculum is available at RelationshipsunderConstruction.com if you would like to preview. ONLINE students have the opportunity to come into school for this class. The parent signature page was due on 5/10 to Mrs. Staley.
