Gender discrimination in American history.
In the late 19th century women were not aloud to vote.This was known as women's suffrage,the legal right for women to vote. Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton both were well known for fighting for women suffrage. The unfair treatment of women began in 1792 in the English speaking world, but it carried over to the U.S when the English america. In 1872 Susan B. Anthony voted illegally and was fined $100.
