Accelerated Reader Pointers
Be sure students are testing in their zpd (range).
Complete status of the class daily. This is done by pulling up the Diagnostic Report and monitoring each student’s progress for the week.
The limiters in the Diagnostic Report should be as follows:
Reporting Period – This Week (M-F)
Average Percent Correct – Below 90%
Quiz Language – Report on English Quizzes only
There should be no red arrows next to RP Quiz taken or % Correct categories. If a student has a red arrow in either category, be sure he/she takes a test and scores 90% or better. Monitor the average percent correct as more quizzes may need to be taken.
The Engaged Time per Day in the Summary category should be 35 minutes or more.

Counseling
Thank you for all your support with Bully Prevention Week! This week will be "B" week; we are continuing to focus on RESPECT in our classroom lessons. Students will learn respectful words as well as what respect looks and sounds like. I have attached a link for you to enjoy; I hope it puts a smile on your face! Have a wonderful week!
