Wylie Way speaker on Friday
We as a campus will be staying here on Friday. I definitely don't want this to be something to worry about, especially right now. We will all stay back, social distance, and watch with our teams. IT IS OK!
I really do think you'll enjoy Brett. We've had an opportunity to see him a few times now and I am always challenged and entertained by his messages.
This does mean we've canceled our portion of the Chickfila order, so plan accordingly. :) You'll have about an hour and 15 minutes to break.
Here is the zoom link that will be live beginning at 8:00 am. Missy & Micah are monitoring the link so they will let people in as they join.

If you have multiple people staying back, it might be great for them to (socially distant) watch it together because it has so many interactive pieces.
Don't forget to enter your PTA lunch choice for next week!
Remember, you can join online or print out the above form thing thing and we'll have a place for those to be turned in on Tuesday. As soon as I have spirit wear links, I will share those as well.
Wylie Care kits, delivered!
These kits were packaged specifically for elementary teachers and contain adult disposable masks, student disposable masks, adult reusable masks, gloves, face shield, spray bottle of disinfectant, WISD water bottle, and a clear reusable WISD bag.
We will deliver these to the cafeteria for you to distribute to your teachers. We tried to account for all teachers but to be sure, there will probably be a few extras with the delivery. Hopefully this helps to offset any errors on our end and any extras can be kept by the campus nurse for future use.
Your teachers will also be getting a gallon of hand sanitizer and paper towels to aid in cleaning. Due to the size and weight of these items they were not included in the Care Kits. These are being distributed separately by your campus custodian and should be in place early next week.
Care Kits for your other staff members will follow later this week or early next week.
Regarding replenishment of these products... Staff members are to monitor quantity levels of the products provided and communicate replenishment needs to the campus secretary who will enter a work order once a week for PPE and hand sanitizer replenishments. The requested products will be gathered, and delivered to the campus admin office on Monday and Tuesday of each week.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

A special message from Northpointe Church...
Hi Amber,
I know you’re in the midst of getting everything ready. I just wanted to touch base. I’m attaching a prayer I wrote for Whitt this morning. Also, as requested by your counselor, I will be bringing up a nice assortment of snacks for your teachers as well as brightly colored markers, pens and Sharpies. I plan to deliver those on Monday is all goes as planned.
This year for my Back to School Blessing here at North Pointe, I decided on the theme of “God’s Got This!” I’ve ordered some carabiners with those words on it. I ordered enough for all your staff so I’ll be bringing those up as well.
Also, I will have Prayer Warriors in place starting on Monday with someone covering your school each day next week. I’ve told them to pray from where they are. I have assigned hourly prayer warriors for the first day of school to pray starting at 7:30 and concluding at 2:30 p.m.
My heart goes out to all our school districts as they navigate this season.
You will stay in my thoughts and prayers. If I can help in some way, please let me know. Our church wants to be here for your staff, students and parents. I still plan to drop something off each month for your staff.
You do not need to respond. I just wanted to keep you in the loop. I know you are doing an exceptional job!
Prayers and blessings!
Information for parents will be sent out TODAY about next week.

The Counselor's Corner
7 sleeps, 7 sleeps until we get to see our Wolves again!!!
Our fabulous Shari Halpin has created Wylie Way SEL lessons for 35 weeks!!! She has done a tremendous job in aligning them with the Wylie Way character traits we discuss throughout the year. These lessons only take 10-15 minutes yall and with 35 lessons, that’s one per week! It is remote learning friendly as well!!
Kinder is going to be completing these lessons every week, and I feel like they can potentially be used K-2 while 3-4 can use the lessons made for our 5th graders in the district. Yall these are great activities/videos to use when you have lunch in your classes, students are waiting for desks to be clean, or any other time you can show them. Come chat with me if you have any questions!!

Please do not share the specific names of the students and staff who have tested positive with anyone who does not have an educational right to know or is made privy to this information by campus administration or other district personnel. This information is protected by HIPPA for both students and staff. For students, this information is also protected by FERPA.
