About Me
I was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the middle of three daughters. My undergraduate degree in History is from Dickinson College, and my graduate degrees in Education and Legal Studies are from Wilmington University and California University of PA, respectively. Currently, I am enrolled at Marymount University to pursue my Doctorate in Educational Leadership. This is my twelfth year teaching at Huntingtown High School and my eleventh year teaching AP US Government and Politics. Everything I do in the classroom is motivated by my experiences as a mother of five daughters (ranging in age from 16 to 23) and my relationship with my husband, Trey Sirman, Assistant Principal at Calvert High School. My hobbies include Politics, Nutrition, and Fitness. Additionally, because of my connection to Pittsburgh (my entire immediate family still resides in the city), I am an avid fan of all Pittsburgh teams, especially the Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers.
