CMSS MONDAY MESSAGE...

February 19, 2018

R.E.A.L. Panthers

RESPECT, EXPLORE, ACHIEVE, LEAD

CLEANING

Custodial staff have been in the building today and will be here Monday spraying and wiping down everything they can.

We have also purchased clorox wipes for the Teams. They are being placed in your classrooms today. The clorox wipes need to be used on the computers. First thing Tuesday morning have the students wipe down the chromebooks. They do not need to douse the computers with the wipes but wipe down the outside and keyboard. You should be able to use a clorox wipe for several chromebooks.

May want to make it a habit to have students wipe them down at the end of the day.

Big picture

We always hear the importance of students being HAPPY at school.

We want them to LIKE school.

We want them to ENJOY being at school.

Kids that are HAPPY are more likely to perform better.

Kids that LIKE school are more likely to have better behavior.

Kids that ENJOY being at school are more likely to be positive role models for others.

**No matter what we do, there will always be some that can't be made happy, but that shouldn't stop me from trying.

I have been reminded that for kids to be happy, like school, and enjoy being a part of the school community, I may want to spend more time focusing on ways to make our work environment a HAPPY place.

Not everyone will LIKE being at work, but what can we do to make it a more likeable place to be?

What can I do as building leader to make our school an ENJOYABLE place for staff?

**Again, No matter what we do, there will always be some that can't be made happy, but that shouldn't stop me from trying.
