  • 1921–2006
  • He attended Ansel Adams photography program at the California School of Fine Arts, now the San Francisco Art Institute.
  • He took nature and landscape photographs.

  • There are books from the Sierra Club with his photographs in it. The book is called Time and The River Flowing.

People love his work. It is tragic that he is not with us.

"Philip Hyde's photographs helped expanded or established many national parks and wilderness areas of the Western U.S."

I love his work. He has taken many amazing pictures. One of the best in his time.
