Wildcat Weekly
2022-2023 Vol. #11 October 1, 2022
Welcome back to the weekly! We have enjoyed another great week at TMHS!
Don't forget: Friday, October 7th and Monday, October 10th are student holidays!
Thank you parents for all of your support and your help in embracing one of our important Core Values:
Tomball Memorial High School Core Value: Take Responsibility.
At TMHS WE BELIEVE in taking initiative and a growth mindset. We believe and expect that all TMHS stakeholders take responsibility for their personal and professional growth. We believe that all members can grow and learn from ALL of their experiences and that is one's own responsibility to take initiative to engage in that process.
#GOCATSGO!
Hello Wildcat Scholars!
TMHS is offering an October PSAT/SAT Boot Camp on Monday, October 10th just before our October 12th PSAT testing day. This has been a popular event by TMHS students and seating is limited!
This is a timely, low cost opportunity for you to prepare for a great performance on the PSAT. As you know the PSAT can open doors to scholarship opportunities by being named as a National Merit Scholar. This Boot Camp workshop will be presented by Mastery Prep at the TMHS auditorium from 9:00am to 3:00pm. October 10th is a student holiday so no classes will need to be missed. Pizza lunch will also be provided as part of the Boot Camp cost. Your cost is only $35 dollars. Registration for all students will begin on Friday, September 30. Registration will close on Friday, October 7, 2022.
Register for the FALL BOOTCAMP on October 10, 2022 by clicking HERE!

Senior Trash Bag Sales Fundraiser
The Senior Trash bag fundraiser launched today at the Senior Class Meeting. The purpose of this fundraiser is to provide funds for the 2023 Senior Prom. The cost of the prom is approximately $40,000. We want to be able to plan and provide a beautiful, memorable 2023 senior prom. Senior participation in the fundraiser is critical. Seniors who sell 16 rolls will receive a free prom ticket and two free prom tickets if they sell 32 rolls. Each roll is $13.00. This year you may also pay and place your order on School Cash online. If you choose to purchase your trash bags through the School Cart for convenience, there is a service charge. Each roll is $13.65. This fundraiser has been extremely successful in the past. The trash bags practically sell themselves due to their quality. We hope you encourage your Senior to participate. Orders not done through the School Cart must be turned in to my office, (Mrs. Henry) with one check for the balance. The order form is being passed out through the English Class. I have also attached a copy.

Student ID Badges
All TMHS Students will be required to wear their ID badge each day!
Student ID Badges
Students are required to wear their campus-issued ID badges to school every day. ID badges will help the campus determine which individuals are authorized to be on campus and will assist in accounting for students in an emergency situation. For students, their ID badge has additional functionality for transportation, child nutrition, and library services. The ID badge will be provided to students as soon as possible, in some instances before school during orientation activities or on the first day of school. Students will also receive a lanyard and protective sleeve. Students must have their ID visible on them at all times during the school day. In the name of collectively ensuring a safe environment in our schools, the District appreciates the support of our parents in ensuring their students wear their badges to school every day.
Please see the Student Health and Safety Handbook for additional information on measures to keep your students safe and healthy!
Student Parking
Only students who have purchased a reserved, painted parking space are allowed to park in spaces that are numbered.
**Senior reserved painted parking spots are SOLD OUT**
