What is Google Drive?
Google Drive is a file storage and sync service created by Google. It allows users to store files in the cloud, sync files across devices, and share files.
It includes Docs (Word Processing), Sheets (spreadsheet), Slides (Presentation), Forms (survey/quiz tool), and more!
HOW TO ACCESS GOOGLE TOOLS
On your computer...
May be referred to as Waffle or Tic Tac Toe
On your iPad...
HOW TO LOG INTO GOOGLE DRIVE
Example Account: dawn.walker@midwayisd.org
Password: Your Midway password that you set
Students - Use their Midway Login and Midway Password
Example Account: firstname, middle initial, underscore, last name @midwayisd.org
Password: 6-digit student ID, capital first letter of first name, lowercase second letter of first name

DIFFERENT TYPES OF DRIVES
Team Drive - Group files. Documents are not owned by specific people. Documents can be created and added by any member of the group
Shared with me - Documents created by and owned by a specific person. They shared their document with you. That document could be view only by you, comment only by you or editable by you.

To start a new Doc while in DRIVE, click the NEW button. Choose Google Docs

BE CAREFUL WITH Sharing Settings! You do not want to give out the link to the backside of your form. To send the questions of your form to someone, click the SEND button. Then click the chainlink icon and copy the link to a site or email for your users to access.
To get to forms, in Drive click NEW, then More, then Google Forms. From a website, search Google forms and get started.
