HPL Happenings
November - December 2016
Where else can you save over $400,000 in two months?
We processed over 40,000 checkout transactions, including computer sessions. Assuming an average cost of $10.00/per item, that results in a significant savings for members of our community.
If you're interested in calculating how much your library saves you, check out the library value calculator at ilovelibraries.org.

But it's not just about books!
Or even computers, free wi-fi, in-person help with homework and research, etc.
It's also about our programs. And we had over 2,800 people attend events at HPL in November and December of 2016.

Jingle & Mingle Volunteer Brunch
Our annual volunteer appreciation potluck was held on December 8th.
We truly appreciate the work of our volunteers. Without their help, we wouldn't be able to do as much as we do for our community.
Hendersonville Public Library of Sumner County
Our 38,000 square foot facility opened on 2 October 2008. The facility represents a joint effort by the City of Hendersonville, Sumner County, and private donors. We provide a variety of services and programs for residents of all ages.
