The Weekly Connection
Updates from the Principal's Office - January 15th, 2023
Reminder - There is no school on Monday, January 16th, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Message from Mrs. Jones
As we remember the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I recall his words, which are inscribed on the South Wall of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in Washington, DC:
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that."
I would encourage you to join me in taking time this week to reflect on these words as we engage with one another- in our homes, our school, and our community.
CSF Update:

Counseling Office Corner
Do you have questions about four year planning, or how the trimester system works? Wondering what it looks like to be part of one of the many programs we offer? Stop by the counseling office to make an appointment with your counselor!
In November, counselors visited classrooms to share about the transition to trimester and help students begin the process of four-year planning with trimester in mind. If you and your student have not reviewed and returned the four-year planning document, please take a moment to review and return it to your counselor. If you're unsure what the four-year planning document looked like, see below.
Need another printed copy of the "My 4 Year Plan" Document? Stop by the counseling office!
