STREAMs to Success

On Wednesday, March 16th, Mrs. Dote accompanied students to OHM BOCES for the STREAMs to Success field trip. This trip focused on pairing young women with professional women in Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STREAM). The students listened to two keynote speakers from AFRL (Air Force Research Lab), and completed 3 STREAM projects.

MS Campus Student Council

Student council held several spirit days as well as a bake sale during February and March. Spirit Days included: Color wars, Travel Day, St. Paddy's Day, Jersey day, bright colors day, Random Acts of Kindness day, and more. All activities were well received by our students. Donations from the bake sale were given to Anita's Steven Swan Humane Society as well as Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization that builds beds for children in need. A collection of items was done for the Steven Swan Humane Society. The organization was very appreciative of the donations made.

Currently we are collecting items for the Chemo Bag drive. Items can be sent to school with students. We are looking for donations of fleece blankets, fuzzy socks, puzzle/word search books, hard candies, small tissue packs, gum, cash donations to sponsor a bag, gift cards for gas or Itunes. The drive ends on March 31st.
