PTA NEWS FLASH

Indian Knoll Elementary

Letter from the Principal

Firebird Families,

Spring is in the air and we are moving into state assessment season. Our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will be taking the Milestone Assessment starting April 15th. We are confident that our students are well prepared to shine on this test. Please make sure during this window of time that your child is well rested and comes to school promptly on a regular basis.

As we prepare for the 2019-2020 school year, our teaching staff and projected student enrollment will be very consistent with current numbers. We are fortunate to have a very dedicated faculty and anticipate the teaching teams to look very similar to this year. We are currently finalizing the class rosters and registering new kindergartners.

This is a very exciting time of year and we will be celebrating the successes of our students through positive DoJo points, continued honor roll assemblies, Firebird Feathers, and PBIS House Meetings. Our students continue to amaze me with their academic accomplishments and good character. We appreciate your partnership and thank you for supporting us along the way.

Sincerely,
Kim Cerasoli
Principal

Spirit Rock Painting!!

We have had several parents and/ or family members inquire about hiring someone to paint the spirit rock for their special event. We want to make this a little easier by listing some of those individuals who offer these services on the Spirit Rock FAQ tab on the IKES PTA website, including Tay's Paints, Art by Amanda and Painted Pebbles. Please click on the Spirit Rock FAQ tab here to find links to their Facebook pages.

**Please remember that these services are not affiliated with IKES PTA and will require a separate, additional payment to the artist. Before you book any paint services, please be sure you have reserved and paid your rock reservation with IKES PTA.
