Message from Dr. King Davis
Everyday, I am grateful for your hard work. We have been through so much together as a team - from Harvey to COVID, we have embraced challenges head on and persevered. Thank you for the example you set for our students, an example of resilience and determination. I am proud of each of you.
You may have noticed the numbers have slightly increased on our COVID-19 dashboard since we returned from Winter Break. We anticipated this increase as we watched reports and gathered information from Harris County Public Health over the holidays. Sheldon ISD has remained consistent around 0.2% COVID-19 cases which is still very low. Thank you for doing your part to help slow the spread.
We are doing all that we can to provide a safe environment including now reducing our spectator capacity for sporting events from 50% to 25%. A special thank you to our technology team for making a live stream available so that our community is able to watch home games via the website.
Your health continues to be our top concern. It is important to continue to follow guidelines for facial coverings and social distancing. Please remember to take care of yourself if you are feeling sick, and more importantly stay home so we can continue to do our part to stop the spread.
I am so thankful for you, and you are essential to our work!
