Message From Mrs. Robertson
Greetings CMES Lions!
We hope that you are taking time over Spring Break to rest and relax. During these challenging times it is necessary to remind ourselves and each other that this situation is not permanent. We will return to days when we can all be together in the same place, enjoying the moments that bring us joy and purpose.
This newsletter includes a wealth of information about resources that are available to students, families and our community.
Until we are all together again, we want to let you know that we are here for you and ready to support you and miss you very much!
Yours in Education,
Kimberly Robertson
Principal

Printed Packets
At this time almost all students have access to a device for distance learning therefore we have a limited number of paper packets available. Paper packet pick up will be Wednesday, April 15 from 10-2 next week. Due to guidance from the Maryland State Health Department, we are not accepting completed print materials here at school. We encourage you to take a picture of the completed work or scan the work and send to your child's teacher. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can assist you.

Mrs. Carter is the user support specialist (tech person) for CMES. She is available to help teachers and students who have any issues using their devices as we adjust to learning from home over the next month or so.
Students with issues with the technology, please send an email to christine.carter@fcps.org. Mrs. Carter will have office hours between Mondays 10 am - 2 pm, Wednesday 10 am - 2 pm, Friday 10 am - 2 pm and will be available to respond to technology concerns at these times.
When reporting technology support requests please communicate the student first and last name and the issue you're having. She will work to address all issues in the order they are received.
Mrs. Woodward, our literacy specialist and a Vanguard teacher is an additional resource for you as you navigate the technology. She is available to support with technology issues as well and has experience with Schoology and Google Classroom. She can be reached at hilliary.woodward@fcps.org
