Twin Oaks Elementary

Family Newsletter

September 9, 2019

Hello Families!

We had a great first week of school. We welcomed many new families to our school. The students are loving the new breakfast/lunch menus and the tasty entrees. On Friday we had our first Mustang PRIDE Assembly. We watched a newly created PBIS movie featuring our own amazing students. The video taught the school expectations at Twin Oaks Elementary. All of our teachers planned activities and lessons to help build strong classroom communities. We are going to have a great year!

TOSA Meeting: Our first TOSA Meeting is Tuesday, September 10th. TOSA is the Twin Oaks' version of a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). We meet from 6:30-7:30 in the school library. Child care is available. Please join us and learn how you can support your school and community.

We need volunteers: We are in need of four volunteers to help with our Health Screening on Friday, September 13th, from 9:00-11:00. We also need volunteers to help on Picture Day which is scheduled for October 2nd. The first two volunteers that commit to helping on Picture Day will receive a free photo package from Lifetouch. Please call Vickie at 541-790-3417 if you are available to help with either of these events.

Reminder: If you are dropping your child off/picking up your child, please use the lower parking lot. If you are walking your child into school, please park in the lower parking lot.

Best regards,

Ms. Denisa Taylor
